# 32 Talker on Mind As A Computer Part 2 of 3

Are you aware……
You have 100,000,000 receptors in your eyes to see with.
You have 24,000 fibers in EACH ear to hear with
You have 500 Muscles, 200 Bones & 7 miles of nerve fiber to move with
You have a heart that pumps more than 600,000 gallons of blood through 60,000 miles of veins & arteries with 36,000,000 beats each year.
You have lungs that have 600,000,000 pockets of folded flesh for you to breathe with.
Your five quarts of blood have 22,000,000,000,000 (trillion) cells which each have millions of molecules. Each molecule oscillates more than 10,000,000 times each second.
You have 2,000,000 of your blood cells dying each second that are being replaced by 2,000,000 more and this has been happening since your birth.
Your 3 pound brain has 13,000,000,000 nerve cells to file away every perception that you have experienced since birth just waiting for you to recall it.
You have 4 million pain-sensitive structures to feel with.
Including 500,000 touch detectors and 200,000 temperature sensors
You stomach has acid strong enough to dissolve nails.

There are over six billion people in this world and each person has his or her own thoughts

All the numbers above add to 22,013,760,761,708 (is trillions) of ‘something’ within your body, ‘in 17 categories’ to ‘track and maintain’, per human, times the 6 billion people in this world, that Source is actively energizing. (Won’t even try to write that resultant number)

Each and every body part, (nerves, bone, blood, skin, muscle, tendons, etc) of that huge number, (as cells) has ‘individual awareness’, that ones mind/brain, functioning as a computer, must keep track of. That individual ‘cell’ awareness, is fueled/nourished/energized, and tracked by the mind of ‘Source/God/Universal Mind’, directly ‘and’ indirectly with mind as an interface to ones body, and set ‘on’ autopilot.
The inherent tendacy of the ‘cells’ is natural ‘survival’ through self-repair, but self-repair is highly influenced by ones thoughts and emotions. Positive thinking energizes the cells beneficially, while negative thinking acts much like a computer virus, with destructive undesired results.

The monitoring process is happening on a constant basis, with the subconscious mind processing the information at about 400 billion bits of information per second and the impulses traveling at a speed of up to 100,000 mph! Compare this to your conscious mind, which processes only about 2,000 bits of information per second and its impulses travel only at 100-150 mph. (see part 1, for description of ‘bits)

We all function in our life activities with various emotions. Some bring solutions, some cause difficulties. All emotions, can in most instances be readily changed if one is willing to change. Emotions wear hats of many colors and flavors.

Certain emotions cause stress. Stress causes numerous difficulties within ones body.
Stress causes one to rapidly enter the ‘fight or flight’ mode.
If neither ‘fight or flight’ takes place difficulties will show up health wise.
So emotions can be a hidden trouble maker or a blessing

Depending on the hat worn, one can be in a functional state, or dysfunctional one.
Eliminate the good or bad, the right or wrong of judgements that create inner disharmony. From a spiritual point of view, using the words ‘functional and dysfunctional’ alters the nuances of certain words, as previously understood, into a whole new ball game of ‘thinking’. Equally important is how ones health could benefit.

Mentioned in other topics here in this blog, are inner ‘filters’ that were accumulated through various childhood experiences. Those childhood filters, plus those put into place since those early days, are in constant play, whether you are consciously ‘thinking a thought or not’.

What you eat, drink and think, affect the whole body.

So now in the instances, where one need to correct a thought statement, as a ‘poor’ choice of thought words, just apply ‘functional or dysfunctional’ in their stead.

Where are we headed here!
Consider that ‘what one eats, drinks and thinks, affects and influences all of these areas’:

So on with my research looking for clues to good health and a better life.
The first clue , so to speak, was reading that all emotions and events are stored with-in our psyche ! Yes, so what, you ask? Patience now. Starting with any label, one must add to it, things we eat, liquids we drink, air we breathe, and people whom we associate with, the type of work we do, the area one lives in, religious upbringing , ones sleep pattern and we have a very powerful set of agents working in us all the time.
Not some of the time, ‘but all the time’, awake or asleep.

Doing what?
Glad you asked. These agents are setting up what I call “trigger points” of emotions. Mixing, sorting, coloring, filing and misfiling everything that makes you “who you are“.

So in a way, one has a huge data base stored in them, same as a computer, that can be instantly accessed. Those stored emotions ( labels ) one acts from, are NOT all drawn upon at the same time. More like one file, out of a labeled folder, that seemed to match the ‘occasion’ taking place, but it may or may not have been the right match. That answers one of the questions raised earlier. Are you saying we can act rationally and not-rationally at the same time? That’s not what I said. What I did say, was, “seemingly“. We can act rationally in a given moment OR act non-rationally, but NOT both at the same time.
While the events may appear to be taking place at the same time, each event stands alone. For each given event, ones psyche is instantly at work, coloring that event according to stored emotions, and combining it WITH the new prevailing emotion, creating what I found out to be, is a differentiated or non-differentiated event or action.
The “ why “ question as answered here, at least for me, seems to be the misfiling of events and emotions some where inside of one. Like any filing system, where things DO get misfiled, the same misfiling can take place in ones psyche, and that is a strong possible reason for the unpredictable blow-ups or actions one can experience.

Beliefs arrive and are formed from many sources. So is a very serious matter when the ‘events and words’ are at odds with each other. Beliefs are the formative backbone of what develops ‘faith’ in a something. This faith, and belief situation is more complex than greets ones eyes.
Well, it’s much like a child at an early stage of life, that looks at the person in front of them, as being there solely for that child’s needs and comfort. The child at that point, has no other reference point, until more experience is gained. So before any ‘feel secure, ground solid’ can occur, there must be a reference point established.

When we are born, all spiritual reference points are ‘hidden’, and that is what makes life so interesting. We gather outer experiences, and if, how to say this, all is well, no problem. But if tiny slivers of ’something is not right’ starts causing inner unrest, is when you seek other ‘input’. some will find ‘inner’ guidance readily. One hears or reads that ‘you’ must go within for assistance. Still, some others will see a beautiful ‘event or scene’ and receive their ‘ahaa’ to that inner guidance.
At this point though, one ‘must’ ask, where does that inner guidance come from!
Our brain and mind, with that direct tie-in with Universal Mind, gives one the equivelent chip-set, that makes anything that Intel or AMD, in their wildest dreams could ever design, look like an ancient Radio Shack Tandy computer running Basic lanquage, of long ago.

Being some what familiar with computers, an email that mentioned ‘Reboot Your Brain’ got Babblers attention, and Babbler rapidly stared asking questions. ‘Isn’t rebooting your brain, a nutty thought!’ inquires Babbler ‘rebooting a computer makes sense, but a brain!’. So I (Talker) gently chide Babbler with ‘You have access to the Akashic Records and ones High-Self, and you are asking about a reboot the brain nutty thought!’ Babbler laughs and come back with ‘Come on Talker, you know it was only a figure of speech, and I wanted your attention, so now talk on it’.
Well for starters, ‘I bargained with life for a penny, and that’s all life was willing to pay’, is a point I want you to keep in mind here. Some are getting rich selling info on ‘How to Get Rich’ to those that want or need extra bucks in hand. Most of the information, will be at $30.00 to $97.00 prices, while some will hit $5,000.00 for Abundance / Law of Attraction seminars. Some will make it work, while many will not succeed in getting any richer.
The word ‘abundance’ can apply to more then just money though. How about abundant debt, or abundant bad luck! What about abundant ill-health!
New theme of thought to your ordinary way of thinking, isn’t it!
What works and what doesn’t, is a tough question to answer. Will only say that even the crappiest program will have a few successful users, and the most expensive seminar, will issue a few ‘no results’ refunds.
Now I sure as hell, don’t have all the answer to these situations, but I have worked through some of the reasons for seeming failed results, either for me or a few others.
Here are some ”why it may have failed’ in no particular order:
1- Lack of clarity in the affirmation used.
2- lack of emotion doing the process.
3- no time spent reaching relaxed state.
4- doubt exists, but will try it anyway attitude.
5- needs to be unhappy to function at all.
6- unable to love them self.
7- constant focus on the bullshit in their life.
8- believes enjoyment is a sin.
9- unhappy with who they think they are.
10- unhappy with who they think their not.
11- cluttered mind activity.

So how does a reboot of the mind help!

Well when a computer starts acting up, or slowing down, or showing glitches of any sort, one just closes open programs and you got it “REBOOTS”. When rebooting is over, and a fresh Desktop appears, normally all the prior problems experienced, ARE GONE.
Clearing up old beliefs, and sloppy thinking can also help correct health problems, not just money problems.

Time Travel in the Brain

By Daniel Gilbert & Randy Buckner
Source: Time Magazine

What are you doing when you aren’t doing anything at all? If you said “nothing,” then you have just passed a test in logic and flunked a test in neuroscience.

When people perform mental tasks–adding numbers, comparing shapes, identifying faces–different areas of their brains become active, and brain scans show these active areas as brightly colored squares on an otherwise dull gray background.

But researchers have recently discovered that when these areas of our brains light up, other areas go dark. This dark network (which comprises regions in the frontal, parietal and medial temporal lobes) is off when we seem to be on, and on when we seem to be off.
If you climbed into an MRI machine and lay there quietly, waiting for instructions from a technician, the dark network would be as active as a beehive. But the moment your instructions arrived and your task began, the bees would freeze and the network would fall silent. When we appear to be doing nothing, we are clearly doing something. But what?
The answer, it seems, is time travel.

The human body moves forward in time at the rate of one second per second whether we like it or not. But the human mind can move through time in any direction and at any speed it chooses.

Our ability to close our eyes and imagine the pleasures of Super Bowl Sunday or remember the excesses of New Year’s Eve is a fairly recent evolutionary development, and our talent for doing this is unparalleled in the animal kingdom.

We are a race of time travelers, unfettered by chronology and capable of visiting the future or revisiting the past whenever we wish. If our neural time machines are damaged by illness, age or accident, we may become trapped in the present. Alzheimer’s disease, for instance, specifically attacks the dark network, stranding many of its victims in an endless now, unable to remember their yesterdays or envision their tomorrows.

Why did evolution design our brains to go wandering in time? Perhaps it’s because an experience is a terrible thing to waste. Moving around in the world exposes organisms to danger, so as a rule they should have as few experiences as possible and learn as much from each as they can.

Although some of life’s lessons are learned in the moment (“Don’t touch a hot stove”), others become apparent only after the fact (“Now I see why she was upset. I should have said something about her new dress”). Time travel allows us to pay for an experience once and then have it again and again at no additional charge, learning new lessons with each repetition. When we are busy having experiences–herding children, signing checks, battling traffic–the dark network is silent, but as soon as those experiences are over, the network is awakened, and we begin moving across the landscape of our history to see what we can learn–for free.

Animals learn by trial and error, and the smarter they are, the fewer trials they need. Traveling backward buys us many trials for the price of one, but traveling forward allows us to dispense with trials entirely. Just as pilots practice flying in flight simulators, the rest of us practice living in life simulators, and our ability to simulate future courses of action and preview their consequences enables us to learn from mistakes without making them.

We don’t need to bake a liver cupcake to find out that it is a stunningly bad idea; simply imagining it is punishment enough. The same is true for insulting the boss or misplacing the children. We may not heed the warnings that prospection provides, but at least we aren’t surprised when we wake up with a hangover or when our waists and our inseams swap sizes.

The dark network allows us to visit the future, but not just any future. When we contemplate futures that don’t include us–Will the NASDAQ be up next week? Will Hillary run again?–the dark network is quiet. Only when we move ourselves through time does it come alive.

Perhaps the most startling fact about the dark network isn’t what it does but how often it does it. Neuroscientists refer to it as the brain’s default mode, which is to say that we spend more of our time away from the present than in it.

People typically overestimate how often they are in the moment because they rarely take notice when they take leave. It is only when the environment demands our attention–a dog barks, a child cries, a telephone rings–that our mental time machines switch themselves off and deposit us with a bump in the here and now. We stay just long enough to take a message and then we slip off again to the land of Elsewhen, our dark networks awash in light.

Your spirit operates outside time and space.
When there is an emergency where danger is about to approach you faster than you can normally sense, your spirit will compell you to act quickly without pondering. It directs you through your instinct and reflexes. Think of a time when you moved out of harm’s way in an instant and the move was so spontaneous it seems that everything just flowed in the moment. Your awareness of what was happening and your response happened without hesistation, but so quickly that it was almost together at the same time.
How is that possible!
It is that computer like brain/mind/Source connection, on auto-pilot.

That is because your spirit can observe things and sense reality beyond your ordinary rate and range of awareness. Imagine that a dagger is flying towards you from the side. In ordinary rate of awareness, there is simply not enough time to notice the dagger coming and to move out of the way. But in the realm of your spirit’s awareness, time is slowed down to a crawl and it can fully perceive everything that is happening no matter how quickly. It sends the message to you and in that moment you experience the spontaneous and seemingly simultaneous knowing and action. The awareness comes just before the action but it seems that time slows almost to a standstill during that moment of thought.
Perception and action become as one.
How is that possible!
Again it is that computer like brain/mind/Source connection, on auto-pilot.

Perceptive awareness is being fully alert and living fully in the moment. It is seeing the trees bend in the wind and the way the birds circle overhead. It is sensing how the trees feel and what problems and joy the birds are experiencing. It is experiencing the full moment around us and not just our little thoughts. It is clearing the mind of future events and past replayed scenes, so you can experience the entirety of the current moment in time. It is putting yourself in the full frame picture now in front of you in relationship to everything happening around you. It is being fully alive. With that kind of perceptive awareness, a moment can seem to you to last forever.
How is that possible!
Again it is that computer like brain/mind/Source connection, on auto-pilot

A master baseball batter is apparently able to slow things down when he’s at the plate. To everyone else, the ball would be rocketing toward the plate at approximately 100 mph, almost faster than the eye can see. But to the focused athlete, the ball seems to slow down just for him, and present itself to him.
This is what many of the best batters have this in common. Somehow, when they need to slow things down to make their big play, they are able to perceive everything happening in slow motion. The ball rolls slowly up to the plate and is easy to see, often appearing larger than life. It’s almost as if the ball is waiting for them to hit it. To everyone else, the ball is racing to the plate at a blistering speed, curving, skinking, and breaking in ways that make it almost impossible to track, let alone hit.
This is truly time manipulation, since the perception of the person who seems to manage this trick is that time has been stretched longer or made shorter. Since this is the perception of the magician, and becomes the way he acts upon the world, it becomes that person’s own functional reality. It’s really a consciousness shift and an expanded awareness.
Ah yes, it is real magic, through the magic of our computer like brain/mind/Source connection, with focused attention. For most rapid perception, attention must be at its maximum focus on the area of the thing to be perceived. You must intend to see everything you can in that moment of looking. When you focus only on the thing you are looking at, things surrounding will become dimmer and out of focus while moving in slow motion together with it.
All this is with and through our computer like brain/mind/Source connection.

Fear collapses time. You do not want to collapse time, you want to expand it. Awe is one of the feelings that expands time and slows it down. The opposite is true, things that move in slow motion likeness create a feeling of awe. Fear and awe are very similar and yet very different feelings.
Fear causes you to be totally unseeing and blind to the action of the thing you are afraid of in the moment.
Awe causes you to be totally seeing and taking in the fullness of what you are looking at.

Scientists have shown that mild anxiety can improve performance in some instances like a 100 meter dash, a musical performance, or even an exam. But for the most part, a full-blown autonomic response is not adaptive in most of these circumstances. These are classic instances of what the Taoists would call getting in your own way.
The ancient Eastern masters from various traditions such as Taoist, Buddhist, Hindu, Zen, Sufi and many others recognized this feature of the human nervous system, and so found antidotes to it. These were awareness and equanimity. They cultivated a calm temperament through meditation and breathing exercises, which you can think of as strengthening the parasympathetic response.

As a result, the Eastern masters were able to develop a very strong and nearly imperturbable presence. Because they were not getting in their own way, in the face of danger they were pure action, maximally effective. This cultivation fed into a hyper-aware state of mind, which, interestingly enough, seems to block out emotion-based responses.

Empathic healers who tranfer energy to others in therapeutic touch reach a level of heightened alertness, which is classified as hyper beta brain activity. This is a state of “superalertness” similar to the keen alertness that Zen masters have been observed to reach in closed-eye meditations. In this state, the healer is acutely focused on one thought or activity, tuning out all peripheral distractions.

You can also heal or comfort yourself in this manner. In this heightened state of consciousness, you can focus on any area of pain or injury and send healing energy to that area in thought forms. Similary, you can use your hands to help or to heal, using your hands to project and conduct that healing energy.

A concentrated mind is not an attentive mind, but a mind that is in the state of awareness. Consciousness or awareness is never exclusive, it includes everything. It is not a constricted concentration but a relaxed and free one. When you get into the calm and unperturbed state of mind of conscious awareness, you can perceive easily and nothing can happen too quickly for you. When you are able to slow time down in consciousness, you can use time as the ultimate weapon. Nothing can stop you but you can stop anything. Time is the ultimate illusion. All time is mental.

Every time you slip up on an action or have a hesitation, it’s because you overlapped a proper sequence of things and it just cancels out in your mind. Maybe it’s because you were in a hurry. Your mind can only do one thing at a time, yet each may be done at the rate of microseconds, giving the illusion of many things at once. If you actually try to do many things at once, nothing happens. We’re referring to the conscious awareness here, although your subconscious can do many things simultaneously. It is your conscious awareness that uses rapid perception in order to slow time down.
Time is an illusion, only consciousness is reality.
Who is to say that only a certain amount of things can happen within one second and not more? There are times when people encounter life threatening situation and in the moment, their whole life passed in front of them. As their precious life hung in the balance, for one split second, they took stock of their life, including their loved ones, unfulfilled dreams and unrealized goals and made a momentous decision that saved them in virtually no time at all.

You can perceive things in slow motion and still let your thoughts and actions flow at the “same speed”. It is all relativity. To you, time around you slows down but to an outside observer, you become phenomenally precise and in control. When you are able to perceive faster, you also possess the ability to respond faster. Each second of your time becomes stretched and you can have increased rate of movement within it. Your time is increased compared to other people’s. Those watching with normal rate of consciousness will see you moving like flashes of lightning with sudden bolts of speed.

The best ballplayers, it seems, have learned how to manipulate time whenever it suits them. Perhaps they do this without a great deal of thought or analysis, but they certainly employ all of the key factors of time magicians. They focus their intent, engage their will power, and energize their thought forms. This is personal magic. This is personal power. Everyone can do it. The superstars just do it more easily and more often than the rest of us. We say that they are gifted or superhuman. They are simply focused, intent and willful.
The process as stated is simple, ‘focused, intent and willfulness’, but the star actor’ in all this is non-other than our ‘computer like’ trio, brain/mind/Source connection going into an enhanced state of mind.

How can somebody who’s been running at top speed suddenly double that speed at the end of a race, when they should be the most tired? It’s an obvious display of will power, focused intent, and energized thought power, whereby they conceive of miraculous victory and believe it is possible. And whatever our consciousness can conceive, the body can achieve, through the brain/mind/Source connection, with computor speed and accuracy. You can do it too using the brain/mind/Source connection with intent.

If you watch top athletes who gets into this “zone”, as sports people often call it, you will notice that their eyes seem to glaze over or close halfway for a brief time. They might even appear to be going into a trance. That trance, of course, is the altered state of consciousness known to meditators. They go into a state of higher consciousness very briefly. A split second can seem to last much longer to a person in this state because there is no time or normal laws of physics in higher consciousness.

Most people think that specacular atheletes simply try harder when they “turn it on”. Certainly, they do find extra energy and move with greater speed in less time at these moments, almost as though time for them was standing still. These golden moments in an athelete’s life are truly magical. They can see everything happening in slow motion around them. They have all the time in the world to make amazing moves. They can run faster, think faster, and jump higher than anyone else. And all of this comes by slipping momentarily into higher consciousness, a nonphysical reality where time does not exist and the normal laws of physics do not apply. What’s even better, they operate in these golden moments with a higher consciousness that thinks faster and better than the than the worlds highest priced computer and we all can do it too using our computer like, brain/mind/Source connection, with intent.

Remember that you control time as you experience it. Happy moments fly by in a seemingly quick flash. Yet a fearful moment appears to last for hours.
Such are the miracles that happen when time and space are altered with our emotions of the moment.

Times when there’s an accident, a car crash, a thump on the head, a slap in the face, a comment, a glance from a beautiful person, song of a sweet bird, the rising or setting of the sun, a shooting star, ever renewing the rhythm of the waves do we stop for a second…time slows down…in awe, devotion, speechlessness, thoughtlessness, our ears perk up. We become aware of something here now. Something beautiful, fresh, sweet, pristine, shining, glowing, evervessant, ever fresh. Only at these times, are we awake, truly alive – during the skid / bang / crash – time slows down.

The essence of meditation is training in mindfulness. We see through meditation, what the mind is doing, moment by moment. Why? Because we are training ourselves to become present. If we are present, we naturally bring our intelligence to bear on the moment, using that computer like brain/mind/Source connection, with intent.

Your emotions affect consciousness. Yet those very emotions don’t just evaporate into nothingness, be they positive or negative, they are sensed by the brain/mind/body connection, stored, ever so ready to be called ‘up’ with computer like precision to match ones current emotion, be it rational or irrational. There can be a computer like malfunction of ‘no Source connection’, giving rise to less than favorable outcomes. Hate or anger during those emotional, irrational moments, are like a damaging computer virus, that feed illness or difficult relationship events.

Remember, even a brief second in an altered state of consciouness can seem like hours, since you are controlling time. You are creating perfect timing of perfecting time manipulation. Time is but an illusion. There is all of the time in the world, if you can focus your intent and control your perception. Make your own reality.

Any activity where you perform can be expanded and enriched by a heightned state of awareness that allows you to expand your perception of time and operate somewhat outside of normal physical limitations.

Physical reality is an illusion created by consciousness to rediscover itself.
You’re free to play with illusions without being trapped by any, as it is all just a computer like game, using the creativity of the brain/mind/body connection.
